ROLE

Rare opportunity for a Prospect Researcher with experience in fundraising to provide leads and implement processes supporting philanthropic giving from high net-worth individuals and philanthropic trusts.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this national role will work across the Philanthropy team, focussing on identifying and qualifying prospects in addition to providing data driven insights and analysis to grow the program across

major,

mid-level supporters,

Gifts in Wills and

Trusts and Foundations.


This is a great opportunity to provide market intelligence and supporter insights to help develop, retain and grow existing relationships, and to lead the implementation of proactive prospecting methodologies, using in-house date and vendor research and other resources.


If you bring a few years' experience in prospect research, this is a fantastic opportunity to step up and operate strategically in a management role for this highly respected national health organisation.

You would be part of an ambitious, values-based and collaborative team contributing to the provision of life saving research and health services for all Australians living with blood cancer.


YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Demonstrated experience in a qualitative research role in fundraising philanthropy
  • Knowledge of prospect research tools and resources
  • Understanding of prospect management practices, terminology and approaches
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to organise information
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills in report writing for a range of philanthropic audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal skill and ability to build internal stakeholder relationships at all levels
  • Excellent time and project and skills with ability to drive outcomes in respectful and engaging way.
  • Excellent organisational capabilities with good copywriting skill and meticulous attention to detail.

_Desirable_

  • Demonstrated experience in CRM system Salesforce desirable
  • An understanding of current trends and best practices within philanthropy and prospect research
