We have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier and Customer Development Manager to join the driven, dynamic, and fun Supplier Policy and Innovation Development (SPI Dev) team.

**About the Role**

In this role you will lead the implementation and ongoing development of strategic partnerships with designated ICT & Digital strategic partners. Using data and insights you will drive the Whole of Government ICT Strategic Supplier Relationship Management program and navigate changes in close collaboration with various stakeholders. You will join a fast-evolving space in a central team that guides and supports NSW Government agencies in best practice sourcing of ICT and digital goods and services (ICT Procurement) at a whole of government level.

**Key accountabilities will include**:

- ** **Implement a tiered supplier management strategy in conjunction with NSW Procurement to ensure the relationships are effectively governed.
- Collaborate with strategic partners and internal teams to identify, design, and deliver ICT and digital initiatives, and savings opportunities, with a focus on sustainability, innovation, diversity, and social responsibility.
- Manage a supplier development program to deliver benefits to both parties including through working with our strategic partners and their ecosystems of SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprise) and start-ups as well as existing SME and start-up networks through Accelerators and Incubators, to identify and realise opportunities for the NSW Government to partner with SMEs and Start-ups to deliver innovative technology solutions.
- Maintain collaborative communities of practice to support continued innovation and delivery of NSW Government procurement reform objectives
- Build tactical and strategic relationships with internal business functions and external suppliers to deliver improved efficiency and performance across NSW Government.

You will also:

- Engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, while balancing competing demands.
- Facilitate strong working relationships with key stakeholders to support collaboration, the exchange of information and issues management to build on existing relationships and influence outcomes.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Ability to lead and work within a collaborative and supportive environment by providing clear direction, articulating parameters, and establishing professional working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external key stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivery.
- High level written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts using language appropriate for the audience’s level of knowledge, skill, and experience in a succinct manner.
- Experience in implementing similar programs, working in a devolved procurement model and change management are desirable but not essential.

**About the Team**:
Supplier, Policy, Innovation and Development (SPI Dev) is a dynamic team of specialists within the ICT / Digital Sourcing branch of the Digital.NSW division. This team has a broad remit, including:

- Working with and developing key ICT and Digital industry partnerships to achieve objectives of NSW Government, such as delivering on the state’s digital strategies, encouraging innovation, and achieving social outcomes through procurement
- Managing and reviewing whole of government ICT and digital procurement policies, framework, and ICT Services Scheme with a user-centric approach
- Delivering educational and showcase events for agencies and industry
- Improving branch communication channels and networks

Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $134411 base plus superannuation
