We are looking for a Strategic Transformation Lead to join Aurizon’s Procurement division. In this pivotal role, you will facilitate the smooth and successful transition of business processes and services from a decentralized or traditional model to a global services hybrid model. You will play a crucial role in leading the transition of services from the current outsourced partner to the new identified partner. ***_Strategy Development and Planning:_**
- Develop a detailed transition strategy for outsourcing BPO functions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and map current processes.
- Create a transition plan that minimizes disruption to ongoing operations.
- Support in the identification and selection of the right partner to meet business goals and ensure mínimal disruptions in service.

***_Supplier Coordination and Management:_**
- Work closely with selected suppliers to ensure a clear understanding of our business needs and expectations.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and the supplier to ensure a smooth transition.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance against agreed-upon metrics during the transition phase.

**_ Project Management:_**
- Oversee the entire transition project, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the transition process.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of the transition.

***_Post-Transition Management:_**
- Drive innovation within outsourced operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain BAU governance frameworks to monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
- Act as a liaison between Aurizon and the supplier to resolve any operational issues.
- Proactively manage contractual obligations, supplier performance, and innovation projects to maximize value and minimize risk for Aurizon, adhering to relevant legislation and internal policies.

**_Continuous Improvement:_**
- Regularly review and analyse the performance of outsourced functions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the supplier to implement changes.

**About you**:

- Bachelor of Business or other related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, Projects, and PowerPoint.
- Proven experience in project management, business process outsourcing, and GBS transitions.
- Strong understanding of business processes, change management, and organizational development.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools in the GBS space.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale business transition and transformation projects, preferably in the context of GBS.
