About the role: Are you someone who excels in leading complex transitions and driving change? We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Transformation Lead to join Aurizon's Procurement division in Brisbane. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transitioning business processes to a global services model, making a significant impact on the organization.

Strategy Development and Planning:

  • Develop a detailed strategy for outsourcing BPO functions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to map current processes.
  • Create a transition plan to minimize disruption.
  • Identify the right partner to meet business goals.

Supplier Coordination and Management:

  • Work closely with suppliers to understand business needs.
  • Facilitate communication between teams and suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance during transition.

Project Management:

  • Manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Mitigate risks and provide updates to senior management.

Post-Transition Management:

  • Drive innovation in outsourced operations.
  • Establish governance frameworks to monitor supplier performance.
  • Manage contractual obligations and resolve operational issues.
  • Review performance and identify process improvements.

About you:

  • Bachelor of Business or related field (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in project management and business process outsourcing.
  • Strong understanding of change management and organizational development.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on improvement.
  • Familiarity with technologies in the GBS space.
  • Experience in large-scale business transitions.
