Business Services Transformation Lead

We are seeking a Strategic Transformation Lead to join Aurizon's Procurement division. In this key role, you will facilitate the smooth transition of business processes from a decentralized to a global services hybrid model. You will play a crucial role in leading the change of services to a new partner. This is your chance to make a significant impact and advance your career with us.

Strategy Development and Planning:

  • Develop a detailed transition strategy for outsourcing BPO functions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to map current processes.
  • Create a transition plan to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Assist in selecting the right partner to meet business goals.

Supplier Coordination and Management:

  • Work closely with chosen suppliers to understand our business needs.
  • Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance during transitions.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the entire transition project, managing timelines and resources.
  • Identify and address potential risks and issues.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management.

Post-Transition Management:

  • Drive innovation in outsourced operations for efficiency.
  • Establish governance frameworks for monitoring supplier performance.
  • Act as a liaison to resolve operational issues.
  • Manage contractual obligations and maximize value for Aurizon.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Review and analyze outsourced functions regularly.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management.
  • Experience in business process outsourcing and transitions.
  • Strong understanding of change management and organizational development.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and analytical mindset.
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies in GBS.
  • Experience in leading large-scale business transition projects.
