**As a Student Engagement Officer, you will**:

- Build productive relationships with a diverse range of existing stakeholders and actively seek to maintain positive relationships
- Use knowledge of continuous improvement principles to analyse current processes and practices
- Adopt new ideas and approaches and learn from various points of view and confirm understanding
- Generate new ideas and shares those ideas with others in the work area to improve process and practice
- Understand local processes, prepare standard documents, manage records, regularly track progress of work tasks and identify key issues

**To be successful, you’ll have**:

- Completion of a Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in event management or related field
- Experience in an events team
- Experience in program and project support, implementation, delivery and evaluation within an educational institution or complex organisation.
- Demonstrated organisational, event/ project, administrational and time management skills
