**The Client**

My client is a privately owned developer who has been in business for more than 50 years. Despite having grown to over 40 staff, the business has retained it's personal touch. As well as the typical development duties, they also consult - providing due diligence assessments and development advisory

**The Role**

Due to growth within their business, a position has been created for a Development Manager to join their team. You will play a key role in contributing to the successful delivery of a diverse range in projects - the majority of which are in Melbourne. Reporting to a highly regarded Development Director, your key responsibilities will include:

- Deliver projects from start to finish focusing on time, cost & quality
- Development of project feasibilities, budgets, cash flows & reporting
- Manage contract tendering & negotiation
- Manage leasing, sales & marketing programs
- Oversee a team of direct reports

**Skills & Experience**

To be considered for this position it is essential that you have current experience as a Development Manager - ideally with exposure to a range of asset classes, and not purely in land subdivisions. Other key requirements include:

- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction, or related field
- Ideally 5+ years experience in Development
- Full lifecycle development experience
- Proven track record of contributing to the delivery of significant projects on time and on budget
- Understanding of the project lifecycle from concept through to completion
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Strong communication, as this is a client-facing role
