**The Role**
LPG Commercial & Strategy team is responsible for performance measurement, analysis, and communication of financial and operational information across all areas of the business, this includes management of MIS and challenging the business to adopt best practice.
As the LPG Group Planning & Analysis Manager you will be responsible for the reporting, planning and analysis function across the LPG business. This incorporates consolidated monthly management reporting, annual budget, forecast and long-term strategic financial planning.
You will oversee the reporting & planning ecosystem, revenue assurance and data governance strategy whilst continuing to drive the business towards best practice efficient and effective financial management practices.
Finally, you will also support senior management with ad hoc business analysis on key projects.
You will also:
- Delivering the monthly financial close in a timely manner and own the end-to-end processes and review.
- Own and embed fit for purpose performance reporting framework which generates actionable insights on operational and financial performance. Produce and present core management reporting ensuring that drivers of performance are clearly understood.
- Lead development of 5-year strategic plan, evaluate financial feasibility, investment opportunities and potential risks.
- Lead the annual budget and subsequent forecasting processes collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and develop accurate financial projections.
- Develop and embed program governance and reporting to ensure progress of strategic imperatives is monitored and risks are mitigated.
- Use best practice benchmarking and other reporting tools to identify and subsequently drive efficient performance at both an operational and financial level.
- Implement strong financial controls and assurance framework across LPG.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
**Is this You?**
You are a commercially astute CPA or CA qualified finance professional, with 8 to 10 years financial management experience preferably in large, matrix type organisations. Your sharp financial skills are underpinned by a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Economics or Business. You can understand complex business drivers and translate them into insightful reporting and analysis.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience in leading planning and analysis function in a complex organisation, including executive reporting and strategic planning.
- Assertive with proven ability to establish credibility and influence across all layers of the organisation.
- Ability to understand complex business drivers and translate them into insightful reporting and analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation, prioritisation, influencing and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and build a high performing team.
