**The Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Care & Active Living, Client Connections team for a motivated, enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to provide comprehensive operational and administrative support within the Client Connections unit.

The position performs a critical role within the Client Connections team with a primary focus on customer service, client liaison, staff and client rostering, data entry and payroll processing.

The role will report to the Client Connections Team Leader, will liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders and be responsive to meeting the diverse needs of clients and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintaining and processing accurate and automated information and records required for payroll and debtor functions.
- Respond to client enquiries promptly, accurately and when necessary, direct customers/clients to the appropriate person.
- Generating and maintaining working rosters.
- Providing administrative support across the service delivery area of Client Connections and updating client and staff database.
- Working cooperatively with colleagues to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
- Contributing to the operations of the department through active participation in meetings and other activities.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Post-secondary qualification in administration or experience in an administrative role or relevant experience.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and consultation skills and the ability to manage queries in a tactful and courteous manner.
- Excellent computer skills utilising a range of Packages including staff rostering and client database programs, and experience in administering services to frail aged people and people with a disability and their carers.
- Work effectively within a team environment, tight time schedules and in accordance with variable work demands.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- Must hold or be able to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check.
