**About the company**:

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical or Diesel Fitter to lead the service department as a Service Manager focusing on Generator Installations, Repairs & Maintenance.

You will ensure a proactive approach is upheld with a client focus at all times.

**Key Responsibilities for the role**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the generator service department
- Develop strong customer relationships
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments with clients
- Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement maintenance and repair strategies for generators
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements

**Skills and experience**:

- Mechanical Engineering or Diesel Fitter qualifications
- Proven experience in generator maintenance and service
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Technical knowledge of various generator types and models
- Strong people skills
