**Yes? Then this role is for you***:
The Vendor Manager role is accountable for building, managing and enhancing partnerships with strategic vendors and internal stakeholders to optimise value, mitigate and manage risks and deliver a high level of performance. You will be responsible for representing Service NSW to our strategic vendors and be an advocate for the vendor, ensuring services align with business requirements and internal contract management and procurement policies.

**Your day to day***:

- Undertake business needs assessment, supply market analysis and commercial risk assessments to inform procurement planning and sourcing decisions- Develop, co-ordinate and lead sourcing activities to establish supply arrangements that meet business needs-
- Develop and administer contract management plans, negotiate changes and modifications, supplier performance management and compliance requirements through effective supplier relationships to enhance business outcomes-
- Plan and lead contract negotiations in the establishment and review of supply arrangements to deliver value for money procurement outcomes-
- Partner with staff from across the organisation providing high level advice and guidance to build expertise in procurement, provide governance and improve procurement practice and outcomes-
- Identify, manage and mitigate procurement risks to enable the organisation to meet its obligations and maximise business opportunity- Document procurement processes, decisions and contractual arrangements fully to provide an audit trail for probity and audit purposes

**To be a success in this role you need to have**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Experience in contract negotiation, administration and management-
- Experience in performance management of vendors in a technology function-
- Experience in the NSW Government ICT Purchasing Frameworks: Core& and the MICTA/ICTA Contracting Framework- Strong record leading and implementing initiatives that deliver improved outcomes and increased value
