About the role

About you

**To be successful in this role you should possess**:
Experience with clinical workflows in a medium to large hospital settings.

Advanced communication skills; able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the organization.

Proven ability to influence and manage change.

Personal maturity and experience in dealing effectively with competing priorities.

**Strong customer focus and analytical skills**: Ability to work effectively with end-users, technical staff and management in complex setting.

Selection Criteria
**Essential**: Experience and a record of success in liaising and communicating with key project stakeholders at all levels, with effective stated outcomes.
**Essential**: Sound understanding of healthcare data / reporting and experience with data analytics at various stages of an implementation of a major transformational project
**Essential**: Experience in the implementation and operational support of a clinical or health department information system
**Essential**: High level of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Project to produce professional documentation and presentations
**Essential**: Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and logical and effective manner.
**Essential**: Understanding of data analytics and health informatics.
**Essential**: Demonstrated ability to manage a number of concurrent tasks and adapt to changes in the work environment.
**Essential**: Ability to seek advice and direction from technical experts.
**Essential**: Team player
**Essential**: Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
**Essential**: Up to date vaccination record
**Essential**: Current valid Driver’s License
**Desirable**: Tertiary degree in a health care field.
**Desirable**: Experience configuring Clinical Documentation (eg Powerforms, iView, MPages).
**Desirable**: Understanding of Victorian Department of Health Reporting standards and systems.
**Desirable**: Understanding of Health Service management systems and reporting.
**Desirable**: Understanding of Hl7 messaging
