The primary objective of this role is to lead analytics, insights and visualisation activities in order to deliver high quality outcomes which inform risk management activities.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Supporting the risk function in identifying and managing risks through robust analytics and insights
- Deliver timely insights into the hands of decision makers
- Understanding of industry, market, economic and competitor trends and their impacts on NAB
- Collaborating with stakeholders to support the development of insights
- Ensuring appropriate controls are implemented on data activities
- Guiding the development of data structures and visualisation tools on Risk Content Zone (RCZ)
- Continual focus on improvement to processes and insights capabilities
- Assisting the Manager Risk Performance in the development of a strategic roadmap

**What you will bring**:

- 7+ years’ experience working in financial services in analytics and insights roles
- Experience in communicating with and influencing stakeholders
- Experience with programming languages (SQL/SAS/R/Python) and visualisation tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Strong analytical capability with close attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes
- Pro-active approach to problem solving linked with strong commercial acumen
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present at various levels to both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Ability to lead streams of work, managing timelines to deliver high quality outputs in a timely manner
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously taking initiative, as well as contribute as part of a broader team.
- Knowledge of core credit risk principles
