About CMECME is the Centre of Credit & Execution Excellence within Corporate Finance, and the broader C&IB business.
CME teams work closely with Corporate & Institutional Client Coverage and Product Origination teams to manage our customer portfolios.

About the role:

Reporting to the Director, CME, the Associate Director will be a key senior team member and part of a high performing team that provides credit analysis, deal execution and portfolio risk management functions across the Corporate real estate sector.

A key aspect of the role is to partner with the Client Coverage team providing all aspects of portfolio and client relationship management.

Further, you'll have an opportunity to build on your existing credit/analytical skills and client relationship skills, and play a key role in driving superior client outcomes and delivering world class client relationships.

Further responsibilities will include but not be limited to; Structuring transactions and preparing credit submissions, employing financial modelling where required and making recommendations on transactions to credit.

Workflow management between Client Coverage Team, CME, Product Partners and client support teams, to achieve seamless client experience.
Responsible for managing the ongoing monitoring of the risk profile and compliance requirements of a client portfolio, ensuring portfolio hygiene is a good standard
Conduct research and analysis to develop industry/sector expertise and knowledge.
Attend internal and external stakeholders meetings where appropriate to support business outcomes while managing portfolio risks.
Provide guidance/coaching to graduates, analysts, and senior associates within the team.

About you:

The successful applicant will have extensive Corporate and/or Institutional banking experience with a deep credit background ideally gained in the Property sector.

You'll be tertiary qualified in Finance, Business (or related discipline), possess strong skills in credit, financial modelling, transaction structuring and documentation.

You will also have exceptional inter-personal skills, the ability to work effectively in a high performing team environment and connect with clients and key internal stakeholders.
