**About the role**
This is an new opportunity located in VIC. As the Product Manager for the High End Instrumentation portfolio, you will be responsible to effectively develop and execute marketing and product management strategies to achieve long term profitable growth and desired market position.
**Duties**
- Analysing current business position and identifying external drivers including
competitor activity and positioning, customer needs and industry/product
trends.
- Establishing and implementing marketing and product plans based on market
analysis.
- Establishing pricing strategies and disciplines for all products/portfolios.
- Understanding and adopting/adapting principal's strategies via local
product/marketing plans.
- Providing product sales training and resources to ensure marketing plans can be achieved.
- Ensuring that all direct reports understand the performance criteria and have
the skills and support to deliver them.
**Skills and Experience**
- 5 years in Scientific Instrument sales or product support / management in a similar role in scientific industry.
- Science Degree - Relevant to Product Portfolio
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues.
- Excellent understanding of Product Portfolio
- General understanding of scientific laboratory operations
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent planning and organising skills.
- Good communication skills.
