**The Hospital**:
This is a Level 1, ~200 bed Tertiary Teaching Hospital offering a wide spectrum of Acute Services, including Emergency, Maternity, Intensive Care, General Medicine and Surgery, Medical Imaging, Pathology, Dialysis, Mental Health (both inpatient and community services), and a variety of Ambulatory Services. The hospital collaborates with universities to support undergraduate and postgraduate Medical, Nursing, and Allied Health education, as well as offering clinical placement and training opportunities. Providing Level 4 maternity and neonatal services, the hospital facilitates around 1000 births annually. Under recent public management, it is experiencing a clinical renaissance.
**The Role**:
The hospital seeks an experienced O&G Consultant to spearhead the Women's Unit. This hospital is fully accredited for RANZCOG training. In this role, you'll provide outstanding leadership within a multi-disciplinary team of medical officers and midwives. Additionally, you'll offer supervision and support to doctors in training, ensuring patient-centered, safe care that upholds high standards of excellence. You will also be engaged in the training and supervision of medical, midwifery, and nursing staff as needed, with affiliations to two medical universities.
