- Level 4-6/6 Royal Australian and New Zealand College of O&G surgeries are performed.

- The current Birth Rate is approximately 1,250 per year with a considerable number of high-risk pregnancies. The hospital boasts a Special Care Nursery and is equipped to manage newborns from 32 weeks gestation, and an Adult Intensive Care facility.
- Medical care in the maternity and gynaecology areas are provided by Specialist Obstetricians, Registrars and House Officers. In addition, local General Practitioners with obstetric qualifications support the unit.

- **Skills & Qualifications required**:

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
- Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists or equivalent
- Demonstrated extensive clinical practice experience in obstetrics and gynaecology
- Competency in a wide range of procedures in obstetrics and gynaecology
- Demonstrated experience as an educator and teacher of medical students, trainees and medical staff
- Demonstrated willingness to adapt to and adopt new and emerging technologies and science
