Manager, Mail, Digitisation and Office Services

**About the role**:
- Responsible for ensuring relationships with suppliers, interactions with key clients and quality of all staff inputs applied to these services from across CCSB meet the service requirements agreed with customers via the DFFH-DH Service Agreement and/or specific projects.
- Ensures all documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials and advice to customers in relation to the service are regularly updated according to their own monitoring and reporting of service levels, staff and customer feedback.
- Provides functional leadership, regularly providing expert advice on changes to policies, strategies, processes, frameworks and potential investments relating to it.
- Leads a team with specialist expertise and/or skills in mail, digitisation and office services, having responsibility for all aspects associated with the management of people including performance management and capability development, and contribute to the leadership of the wider branch through their involvement in cross branch knowledge sharing collaboration and people development activities.
- Leads teams through change and to drive and implement initiatives and efficiencies that will improve the delivery of services across the department and positively impact the customer service expectation of the department's employees.

- Provide leadership and guidance based on advanced expertise.
- Contribute advanced expertise and knowledge to benefit strategic planning and organisation/sector-wide outcomes.
- Strategically design and develop the delivery of shared services that impact significant localised service delivery and meet state-wide departmental and government objectives and community expectations.
- Maintain an understanding of issues impacting the departments clients and investigate and lead critical projects that develop and review policies, professional standards and operating practices that enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency and improved client outcomes.
- Foster and maintain proactive, constructive and strategic relationships across the organisation and wider public sector, to promote cooperation, coordination and sharing of information to improve planning, management, and delivery of shared services.
- Identify emerging issues, risk and trends impacting on the successful achievement of key business objectives and imperatives and provide high quality business intelligence and sound recommendations based on comprehensive research and investigations.
- Effectively manage and provide leadership across a range of shared services by:
- fostering an environment of shared success within the team and contributing to a culture of service excellence
- leading and supporting individuals to maximise individual and team effectiveness, ensuring clear expectations of the team and roles within and providing timely and constructive feedback
- modelling behaviours integral to good people management and departmental values
- providing strategic thinking and future planning and oversee change management initiatives and integrated approaches to enhance delivery of shared services
**Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate**:
- A tertiary qualification in fields related to records management, information management project management or business would be desirable.
