**What Does the Role Look Like?**:
As a Rostering Officer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our services. Here’s what to expect:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Schedule Management**: Develop and maintain staff rosters to cover all shifts and appointments according to client needs and service requirements. Manage both regular schedules and last-minute changes.
- **Communication**: Serve as the main contact for staff, clients, and other stakeholders regarding scheduling and roster inquiries. Resolve any issues promptly.
- **Resource Allocation**: Match staff skills and availability with client needs to ensure optimal coverage and balanced workloads.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of staff hours, shifts, and roster adjustments using rostering software.
- **Compliance and Reporting**: Ensure adherence to SCHADS and company policies. Prepare and present reports on staffing and scheduling metrics.
- **Problem-Solving**: Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and coverage gaps. Implement swift solutions to minimize service disruptions.
- **Team Support**: Collaborate with the management team to understand service requirements and support operational goals. Assist in training new staff on scheduling processes as needed.

**To Be Successful in This Role**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in scheduling/rostering in an administrative capacity
- Experience with rostering software
- Knowledge of Disability Services and Support plans
- Demonstrated empathy and caring attitude
- Valid NDIS check
- Fully COVID vaccinated
- Right to work in Australia
