Our client is an Australian manufacturer of dairy products that are going through a strong growth period. This authentic and highly innovative dairy company produces private and own brands for large supermarkets throughout Australia and overseas. Their plant is
**based on the north NSW coast - close to the iconic Byron Bay**

**The Role**
- Administer site WHS and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) systems including Mfiles, Safety Hub, AgSafe, CoRSafe, HSR / Safety Committee, inspections, and audits.
- Participate in the review of capital projects, site changes and improvement activities.
- Mentor the Site Management team, HSRs and site personnel in safety matters including the facilitation of risk assessments according to regulatory requirements and policies, procedures and program requirements.
- Develop the annual site training plan according to regulatory requirements and policies, procedures and program requirements.
- Deliver structured, flexible relevant and interesting training sessions including site inductions for employees and contractors in conjunction with site personnel, Human Resources (HR), WHS and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.

**Your Background**
- Understanding of workplace safety legislation in a manufacturing / industrial environment.
- Practical understanding of WHS, risk management and safe systems of work.
- Understanding of injury prevention and early intervention programs.
- CERT IV Workplace Training and Assessment.
- Advanced computer competencies.
- Effective communication and coaching skills.
- Demonstrated skills in staff training and competency assessment.
