**Our Client**

With over 100 years of experience, our client is a global leader in the manufacture of sub-systems for rail and commercial vehicles. Their state-of-the-art facility housed close to Sydney (Western Suburbs) provides original and aftermarket braking, doors, HVAC, and related products to various heavy industries across Australia.

**About the Role**

We’re currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Customer Quality Manager to manage a team of Quality professionals that review and process quality issues from customer complaints through to resolution, liaising with both internal and external teams to drive a positive result.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Group Quality Manager, your roles and responsibilities will include:

- Lead an experienced team of Quality Officers with engineering backgrounds
- Manage quality issues and associated corrective action requests
- Support and improve customer complaints process
- Review, analyse, and report on a variety of quality data
- Interface with a variety of stakeholders including customers, engineering, projects etc.
- Provide technical support to Quality Officers and other business departments

This role is with one of the largest global Tier 1 sub-system manufacturing and maintenance organisations with opportunities for progression both locally and internationally.

**Skills and Requirements**
- Prior experience in a similar role (e.g. Quality Control, Customer Quality, Complaints management, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering etc.)
- Technical, Engineering, Quality, Trade and/or related background would be highly beneficial due to the technical nature of the products and tasks performed by the team
- Experience in managing a team would be ideal
- Good written and spoken English language skills are essential for the tole
- Experience within the heavy industry space would be ideal (rail, automotive, defence, manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, aerospace etc.)
