**The Project**:
Located in the small suburb of Loxford in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, approximately three km north of the town of Kurri Kurri, and approximately 35 km west of Newcastle and 125 km north of Sydney.

The Hunter Power Station Project will generate 660 megawatts via two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines, and is anticipated to be fully operational by the end of 2024.

**The Opportunity**:
UGL Utilities division is seeking an experienced Planner for a Power Station project based in the Hunter Valley region on a 10/4 roster

**What will a day in the role look like**:

- All planning and scheduling activities across various projects providing technical support to line manager and project delivery teams.
- Document variations, delays & disruptions to justify commercial claims.
- Development and distribution of reports and dashboards as required.
- Analysing critical path activities and providing mitigation and strategies for potential risks or improvement opportunities

**What would we expect you to bring to the team**:

- Between 5 - 7 years previous experience in a similar role within construction & engineering
- Highly proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and MS Projects
- Previous onsite planning & scheduling experience on large construction projects such as Oil and Gas, Power, Water and/or Infrastructure is highly beneficial
