Agile Delivery Lead Opportunity - Case Management System

An exciting Agile Delivery Lead opportunity working with a leading Australian Federal Government organisation on a Case Management Systems Program, up to $1000 + Super per day, initially a 12-month contract with possibility of extension due to the scope of work.

**Your new role**
**As Agile Delivery Lead you will be instrumental to the delivery of the organisations key business initiative (new case management system) and will be responsible for driving the delivery of the programs Scrum/SAFe ways of working. You will serve, coach and challenge the program stream teams to build a high-performance culture, facilitating agile practices whilst helping ensure the program streams are on track. The key objective of this role is to lead the Agile planning and delivery oversight to ensure successful delivery of the CMS program (supporting the CIO/Program Director) and continuously improve the quality and velocity of value being delivered by all delivery streams/teams. This role is 30% strategic planning, and 70% hands on management of delivery of digital products.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Significant experience in agile delivery and expert level skills as an Agile Delivery Lead, including teaching, coaching, and mentoring others, combined with a proven track record in value-based delivery, coordinating large initiatives across multiple streams/teams/squads.
- Significant experience working in large, customer-focussed complex product domains, managing competing priorities, and delivering in a fast-paced change environment.
- Program and Product delivery experience involving large-scale Agile software delivery utilising multiple agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, Lean and Scaled Agile Framework.
- Previous experience as a Scrum Master, delivering capability improvements in dynamic and challenging environments, managing impediments and upskilling team’s ability to solve issues
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence & negotiate, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using relevant technologies in software development including either Azure DevOps (TFS) or Jira/Confluence and using agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement,
