Our Client, an Australian Government Body is seeking an
**experienced Agile Delivery Lead** to join their growing team.

This is a
**12 - 36 month contract that will allow flexible working from home WFH arrangements based in Melbourne or Sydney.**

**It is mandatory that applicants are Australian Citizens as you will need to be eligible to obtain a security baseline clearance.**

**The Role**
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (as the CMS Program Director), the Agile Delivery Lead will be accountable for leading the end-to-end agile delivery processes of the organisation's Case Management Systems Program.

You will serve, coach and challenge the program stream teams to build a high-performance culture, facilitating agile practices whilst helping ensure the program streams are on track.

This role is 30% strategic planning, and 70% hands on management of delivery of digital products.

**The Successful Applicant will ideally have**:

- Significant experience in agile delivery and expert level skills as an Agile Delivery Lead, including teaching, coaching, and mentoring others.
- Significant applied knowledge of the theory and practice of Scrum, Agile and SAFe, combined with a proven track record in value-based delivery, coordinating large initiatives across multiple streams/teams/squads.
- Significant experience working with Government in large, customer-focused complex product domains, managing competing priorities, and delivering in a fast-paced change environment.

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA-**

**Requirements**:

- **10 years of Portfolio, Program and Product delivery experience involving large-scale Agile software delivery utilising multiple agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, Lean and Scaled Agile Framework.**:

- Experience in guiding and coaching teams in the adoption of an agile mind-set and best practices while maintaining a strong delivery focus and delivering measurable high performance
- **Previous experience as a Scrum Master**, delivering capability improvements in dynamic and challenging environments, managing impediments and upskilling team’s ability to solve issues
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence & negotiate, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using relevant technologies in software development including either A**zure DevOps (TFS) or Jira/Confluence** and using agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement,
- Outstanding consulting and communication skills including building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and constructively building trust, breaking down silos, resolving issues across teams.
- Proven experience in change management (both technical and non-technical) and building competencies that grow the capacity to deal with change more effectively.
- Extensive experience in the leadership & management of technical and non-technical staff i.e. Developers, Testers, Analysts, DevOps Engineers etc, and understanding of DevOps processes/methodology.

**Other Requirements**
- Accreditation in one or more agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, Lean, Kanban or LeSS.
