They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as a Hydraulics Sales & Engineering Manager in Sydney.

**Position Overview**:
As the Hydraulics Sales & Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and controlling our company's sales and engineering activities related to Hydraulic Systems and Products. Your primary responsibilities will include personal selling, strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This is a critical role in achieving substantial revenue and profit growth, cash generation, and return on trading assets objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Management**:

- Personally sell to and secure orders from customers and prospects.
- Build and maintain effective account management of major customers and prospects.
- Coordinate all sales activities related to Hydraulic Systems and Products.
- Collaborate with Sales staff to close significant orders.
- Work closely with the Hydraulics Sales Support team to ensure exceptional customer support.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and annual budgets, providing regular forecasts.

**Engineering**:

- Lead and control the engineering design and review process.
- Provide direction and coordination for the Hydraulics Application Engineer, Hydraulics Service Centre team, and Internal Sales.
- Handle technical, service, and quality-related issues raised by customers in Australia.
- Lead mechanical and product development activities with vendors.
- Maintain in-depth technical product knowledge and industry regulations.

**Marketing**:

- Maintain price lists and discount structures.
- Explore new products to complement existing lines.
- Foster strong relationships with product suppliers.
- Analyze market opportunities to achieve penetration and brand awareness.
- Develop and update Hydraulics Marketing and Sales Plans, including comprehensive strategies.

**Supply Chain**:

- Collaborate with distribution to manage stock levels.
- Identify complimentary products/supplies in partnership with the General Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of success in sales and engineering within the Hydraulic Systems and Products industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
