Job Description

The role of an Engineering Manager at Engineering Personnel involves leading a team to develop and implement effective maintenance programs for all plant and equipment, including LiSEC machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering talent.
  • Champion safety within the engineering team and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee maintenance programs and troubleshoot equipment issues specific to LiSEC-related equipment.
  • Collaborate with production teams to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Lead engineering projects from concept to completion, managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Provide leadership on LiSEC equipment, oversee installations, and ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Operational Excellence and Production teams to uphold quality standards and address non-conformance issues.
  • Manage the engineering budget, identify cost-saving initiatives, and implement sustainable manufacturing practices.

In addition, the successful candidate will oversee and optimize Lisec machinery automation with a strong focus on AutoFab integration and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with Lisec machinery, with a strong emphasis on Automation and AutoFab systems, and 5+ years in the glass industry.
  • A degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of AutoFab platforms, including configuring automated workflows, quality control processes, and data integration with Lisec machinery.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, sensor integration, and other relevant automation technologies.
  • A proven track record in managing a team of maintenance technicians in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
