**What’s the opportunity?**
The Pathology Lab Engagement Officer will perform a critical function in supporting the National Cancer Screening Register to implement the new National Lung Cancer Screening Program.
As a key member of the project team, you will manage the relationships with key pathology lab sector stakeholders to enable the integration of labs to the National Lung Cancer Screening Register.

**What can I expect?**
The Pathology Lab Engagement Officer’s key accountabilities include:
- Lead point of contact for pathology integration in the lung project, overseeing activities to integrate pathology labs with the National Cancer Screening Register
- Design and implement change and engagement plans for the pathology lab sector
- Execute stakeholder engagement strategy aligned with the overarching plan
- Advocate for pathology lab partners within the NCSR and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders
- Build positive and collaborative relationships with pathology lab providers, pathology information system vendors, government stakeholders and peak/advisory bodies.
- Lead co-design activities, ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions for the National Lung Cancer Screening Register
- Assist the delivery team to successfully onboard pathology lab providers, including liaising with pathology lab providers and vendors to incorporate integration into their Product Roadmap, and support their integration development and testing
- Effectively communicate ideas, provide regular project updates, and contribute to team success; Adapt to changing priorities and confidently navigate complex environments.
**About you**:
- Proficient in Health IT systems
- Experience within an Engagement Management or similar role
- Preferred experience within the pathology lab sector.
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and advocacy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record driving change within the health sector.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and solid analytical skills essential for success in this position.
