- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Oversee recording of personal and direct-report KPIs through MyPulse or other delegated Performance Review tools
- Lead by example in fostering a positive, inclusive and collaborative attitude and practice
- Provide timely and accurate reports, advice and forecasting to the Business Manager -Metro Operations
- Managing referrer expectations, service level agreements and contractual arrangements
- Manage budget for Area Group and contribute to business and process improvements
- Lead laboratory functions and collection services for the Area Group to ensure that we are meeting
- usiness unit and budget requirements
- Develop and embed internal and external communication channels to ensure appropriate regular and consistent messaging
- Plan, prioritise and organise workload and resourcing requirements to ensure that the team are adhering to Company policies, procedures and requirements at all times

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- It is preferable to have a completed degree in either a Science related discipline or completed degree in Commerce/Business
- 5 years’ experience in leadership related roles
- It is preferable to have experience of teams in remote areas
- Leadership qualities to lead a diverse group of operational areas. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent knowledge in pathology, pathology laboratory activities and systems
- Demonstrated interest in teaching and research
- Excellent knowledge of the direction of the profession of pathology
- Thorough understanding of implementing business strategies
- Practical knowledge of project management principles
- Computer literate with advanced skills in Kronos and Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Outlook
