About The Role

SKUTOPIA and Workit Spaces are growing rapidly and hiring at a fast pace. We have the opportunity to grow the HR department from scratch within an exciting collaborative culture. You will provide support in all aspects of daily administration, recruitment and HR initiatives; helping to contribute to the overall People and Culture objectives and taking ownership of projects where required. You will also work with internal employees to ensure a healthy and happy company environment to maintain our strong values and culture.

In this role you will:

- Be the key point of contact for all junior to mid-level recruitment, ensuring that the full recruitment process is followed
- Be creative in communicating and boosting our employer brand and presence
- Draft HR letters including offers, promotions, pay increases and leavers information
- Assist in producing HR reports and statistics eg. turnover, headcount etc. providing analysis where relevant
- Make recommendations for improvements to current systems and processes
- Manage probation review process and update HR Managers on fixed term contracts due for renewal
- Respond to relevant HR inbox questions and become point of contact for general queries
- HRIS System administration and help desk support where necessary
- Take accurate notes in health and safety, leadership, disciplinary, grievance or formal meetings.
- Promote awareness of company policies and benefits across all levels and respond to questions correctly
- Manage short term projects to gain experience in project management on an ad hoc basis
- Representative for health and safety policy and processes around the company
- Support the People and culture manager in achieving the overall people strategy by engaging with larger long term projects
- Represent the companies’ cultural values and assist in running initiatives that help to ingrain these

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to:
Recruitment
- Support in the creation of job descriptions, posting these on jobs boards and social media.
- Support line managers through the recruitment process, booking in interviews and liaising on interview tasks
- Conduct reference checks
- Draft offer documentation and contracts

Onboarding
- HRIS and payroll administration set up
- Coordinate first day itinerary bookings and communicate with the new starter
- Ensure IT equipment has been ordered and set up, ensuring desk is set up and welcome goodie bag is created
- Check in on new starters regularly and ensure they know where to go

Employee Lifecycle
- Support with probations, performance reviews, leavers and general day to day questions and issues

HR Initiatives
- Collaborate on general HR initiatives to achieve team and company goals (well-being, culture, training, health and safety etc.)

We think you will need:

- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or HR
- Desire to study HR and grow a career in this area
- Able to demonstrate professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Strong emotional intelligence and empathy skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Keen to ‘get stuck in’ with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
