**About the Opportunity**

As part of the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA), the Visitor Economy Assistant will proactively provide administrative support to assist the Visitor Economy team to deliver programs & initiatives relating to Tourism services and the sponsorship of events network.

Some of the day-to-day things you’ll see yourself doing include:

- General administration including invoice processing, purchase orders, sourcing quotes, electronic records management, and other administration tasks.
- Coordinating internal and external events and activities for the Visitor Economy team.
- Coordinating the hospitality and ticketing function for the Events and Festivals Sponsorship program.
- Coordinating the hire of sponsorship assets including signage, banners, marquees etc for use by event partners.
- Supporting the Visitor Services Coordinator in design and delivery of an annual training program including familiarisations.
- Supporting the recruitment, management & training of Visitor Information Centre (VIC) volunteers by providing training to new volunteers on systems, processes and procedures.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Knowledge of national tourism related information services with special insight into the South Australian tourism industry’s products and services.
- Experience in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction in a customer service environment.
- Knowledge of marketing and proficiency with standard marketing tools including Eventbrite, Survey Monkey and CRM tools.
- Strong organisational skills, the ability to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a busy customer service environment where high levels of customer satisfaction are required.
