**About the Opportunity**

As part of AEDA, the Visitor Services Coordinator will proactively provide delivery of activities under the Visitor Information Services (VIS) program which includes: Adelaide Visitor Information Centre; Adelaide International Greeters program; City Guides program; Mobile Visitor services (Visbike); Cruise Ship Meet/Greet program and the VIS Volunteer network.

Some of the day-to-day things you’ll see yourself doing include:

- Managing the day-to-day operations of each of the Visitor Information Services (VIS) locations and programs including Adelaide Visitor Information Centre (AVIC)
- Managing the digital Tour Booking Service including monthly financial reconciliation.
- Working with the Advisor, Tourism Industry Development to investigate, develop and implement new and innovative visitor experiences.
- Coordinating the recruitment, selection, retention, monitoring and evaluation of casual staff and volunteers.
- Liaising with tourism operators, internal stakeholders, industry bodies and other related businesses to ensure up to date and relevant information is made available through VIS.
- Leading VIS casual staff and volunteers by providing direction, communication, and support to deliver the VIS programs.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Knowledge of national tourism related information services with special insight into the South Australian tourism industry’s products and services.
- Experience in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction in a customer service environment.
- Knowledge of marketing and proficiency with standard marketing tools.
- Ability to influence peers and business stakeholders.
- Project management skills which underpin the timely development of projects.
- A demonstrated commitment to internal and external customers demonstrated through the provision of timely, reliable and expert advice on matters within area of responsibility.
