You will work closely with the General Manager, Performance & Reward to ensure effective remuneration governance practices are in place.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the GM, Performance & Reward to ensure effective remuneration governance practices are in place.
- Ongoing review of remuneration policies and practices.
- Manage annual remuneration disclosures such as the Remuneration Report and remuneration elements of the Notice of Meeting.
- Monitor the regulatory landscape in respect of Remuneration and provide advice to the business.
- Work with Company Secretary and Risk to ensure all regulatory reporting is completed
- Managing the Office of the FAR.
- Being the key relationship management for the entity’s APs and their FAR representatives
- Oversee FAR related initiatives and remediation plans (where applicable).
- Perform an initial review and triage of potential FAR matters.
- Oversee and monitor the entity’s and APs compliance with accountability obligations.
- Maintain Accountability Statements as required.
- Facilitate the sign-off process for Accountability Statements and Maps.
- Maintain engagement with the entity’s Regulatory Affairs (or similar) when applicable for APRA engagement.
- Report to the Exec and Board on the entity’s and APs compliance with the FAR.
- Build and facilitate scenario workshops and AP check-ins.
- Point of contact for new APs including on-boarding pack.
- Provide quality and consistent advice to Executives on accountability related matters.

**To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess**:

- Understanding of the CPS511 remuneration governance requirements
- Understanding of the Financial Accountability (or previous BEAR) obligations
- Understanding of all core risk management processes and frameworks (i.e. risk profiling, controls management/testing; obligations review)
- Knowledge of the 3 lines of defence within Risk and the linkages between line 1, line 2 and line 3 teams
- Experience in setting up frameworks and processes for newly established line 1 risk teams (preferably in a functional area - P&C)
- Previous experience in preparing annual remuneration disclosures for ASX companies
- A relevant tertiary or post graduate degree in Human Resources or Business discipline
- Demonstrated experience from a remuneration function within, or advising to, public listed entities and ideally an APRA regulated entities
- Proven capabilities working with CEOs and Directors
- Previous experience drafting Remuneration Reports and/or other public disclosure documents
- Strong knowledge and implementation of Governance practices for ASX listed entities
- A proven track record of implementing new reward programs and addressing and resolving reward related business issues
