Our client is seeking to engage a Recruitment & Human Resources Administrator.
**Location**: Canberra, ACT
**Contract Length**: Permanent, Full time

**Role Overview**:

The Recruitment & Human Resources Administrator provides support to the HR management team and HR Advisor with administrative and project support as directed. As a key member of the HR team, the Recruitment & Human Resources Administrator will understand the demands of the position, follow the organisational values, support team members and deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
**Relationships and Reputation**
- be accountable in the first instance to the HR Advisor, followed by to the Assistant Manager - Human Resources and Head of Human Resources on all recruitment, onboarding and offboarding requirements as directed.
- build solid, professional and positive relationships with internal stakeholders to establish role requirements.

**Communication**
- communicate effectively, professionally and positively to recruitment agencies on status of interviews the same day they are conducted.
- liaise, communicate and seek advice from Head of Human Resources in relation to salary expectations, HR Advisor and Assistant Manager - Human Resources on general recruitment or any other concerns.
- complete weekly recruitment status reports for Head of Human Resources.

**Recruitment**
- review job descriptions with the responsible area manager.
- ensure recruitment processes receive approval from the Head of Human Resources or Assistant Manager - Human Resources.
- ensure recruitment documentation is prepared for internal stakeholders prior to interviews.
- book and prepare interview rooms.

**Onboarding**
- prepare letter of offer for approval by HR Advisor with final approval from Head of Human Resources.
- complete new employee checklist, complete device checklist and create new employee folder.
- liaise with new employee to ensure the completion of employment paperwork, to advise next steps in the employment process and to answer any queries in relation to terms and conditions of employment under direction of the HR Advisor.
- complete post-employment administration by ensuring a thorough new employee induction.
- provide guidance and reassurance to new employee by embedding them through continuous engagement, checking in once per week upon commencement and ensuring they understand CAG processes, such as the payroll cycle.

**Offboarding**
- assist the employee and their manager with the end of employment process.
- provide the manager of the employee exiting, with an End of Employment Checklist to be completed and signed by both parties.
- ensure the checklist has been returned and circulated to payroll for processing of final pay.

**Human Resource Support**
The Recruitment & Human Resources Administrator will assist the HR Advisor and Human Resource Management team with general administration tasks including, but not limited to:

- Preparation of Award and Conditions of employment correspondence under the direction of HR Advisor.
- Research and update terms and conditions of employment across all entities under the direction of HR Advisor.
- **_General administration_** **- ensure typing, filing, and maintaining confidential personnel files as required. This may include EA support for Managing Director and Executive Chairman or any of the Executive Management team when required.
- **_Meeting Room preparation_** **- ensure meeting rooms are booked for management internal and external stakeholder general meetings as required. Ensure meeting room is prepared, refreshments are offered, and meeting room cleared at the end of the meeting. This includes where applicable, meeting and greeting of external clients from Reception.
- **_Invoicing -_** **code and allocate invoices accordingly to the Assistant Manager - Human Resources and Manager - Human Resources on a daily basis through Redmap system.
- **_Reception Relief_** **- provide reception cover on a rotational roster as directed by HR management. This means from time to time there may be a requirement to assist with reception at last minute therefore positively adapting to this requirement is essential.
