About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide a professional and courteous Switchboard service to staff and clients of the hospital, ensuring appropriate action and response within suitable timeframes.
About you
- Efficiently operate switchboard equipment by responding professionally to all incoming calls to the Hospital ensuring that the caller is transferred or redirected correctly and in a timely manner.
- Perform general administrative duties to contribute to the effective daily operations of the Switchboard Services department.
- Communicate regularly with all departments of the hospital to maintain accurate and current records for effective switchboard operations.
- Provide a service to support hospital staff in the allocation, coordination and fault repair of all pager units for the hospital.
