**About our Team**

This position sits within our Emerald Structures team where you will report directly to the Asset Maintenance Coordinator. You will be responsible for leading a team of three Bridgeworkers who are a supportive and engaged team.

**About the role**:
The Structures Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the allocation and deployment of resources including personnel, vehicles, equipment and inventory to delivery safe, cost effective and timely bridge and structures maintenance.

**Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include**:

- Prepare and coordinate daily, weekly and month work programmes and support the achievement of structures availability and condition targets by managing the workgroup’s resources and activities
- Conduct audits, arrange emergency response when required and impose, modify, review or report on speed restrictions, incidents or asset management as required
- Manage the safety, training and performance for your team
- Assist with budget preparation and budget monitoring which will include detailed cost estimates
- Regular travelling in the Central West predominately between Clermont to Winton

- Leadership: experience in leading and providing guidance to a small team with the ability to make decisions
- Technical skills and knowledge - bridge and structures construction: substantial knowledge of bridge and structures construction and maintenance standards, systems, processes and associated costs. This includes experience in planning, estimating, budget monitoring and cost control
- Technical skills and knowledge - systems: intermediate MS office skills with the ability to learn new programs and systems quickly
- Stakeholder engagement: ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation
- Pre-employment requirement: hold a current ‘C’ class drivers licence
