**The Role**

We have a rewarding, dynamic full-time role for a Communications Specialist in our busy Marketing and Communications team. If you’re motivated by developing creative new content ideas and seeing them through, enjoy collaborating with colleagues, clients and external partners, and attack challenges with energy and positivity, we want to hear from you. Reporting to the Head of Communications, you’ll make a difference in this role by:

- Understanding our strategic priorities and having the ability to create both internal and external communications with purpose and impact
- Being adept at working across different communication channels and in multiple media
- Being a relationship builder across all levels in the organisation and with key external partners such as journalists, clients and partners
- Being curious about what we do and seeking out stories that help explain why we do it and how we help
- Being equally comfortable with producing media and communications campaigns, stand-alone content and learning new skills where required

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
To be successful in this role you'll need to demonstrate you meet the following selection criteria.
- Previous experience as a communications professional with outstanding verbal and written communication and editing skills
- Ability to translate complex information into meaningful content for a range of different stakeholders
- Well developed stakeholder management and diplomacy skills
- Media management experience highly desirable
- Experience coordinating project communications.
- High levels of initiative and a consultative and collaborative mindset
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple and concurrent projects, maintaining attention to detail.
- Degree in Communications, Journalism or relevant equivalent
- Knowledge of SharePoint is desirable.
