This opportunity
The Communication Specialist is responsible for producing and optimising effective customer communications. You will contribute to the overall vision and customer experience for the campaign programs that you are assigned. You will use customer insights, and strategic thinking, to construct communications that are meaningful and relevant to the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, clear and concise copy that:
  • Responds to the brief's requirements o Adheres to Vodafone's Tone of Voice Guidelines
  • Maximises conversion
  • Work closely with Product Owners and/or Channel Managers to create effective Confidential copy which advocates for the needs of the customer
  • Clear articulation of requirements from others to produce effective communications via a clear and concise Marketing brief encompassing all customer touchpoints across paid and owned media
  • Attend all required briefing sessions with other areas of the business
  • Keep up to date with news for the business products and services, and broader initiatives

Knowledge and experience

  • Demonstrated ability to craft strong editorial, informational, merchandising copy, with solid experience in digital execution
  • Experience with interpreting and writing a brief
  • Experience distilling complex ideas and explaining them clearly in customer facing copy
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM and social media (are a plus but not essential)
  • Experience with conversion rate optimisation and A/B tests
  • Ability to deal with issues and deliver relevant solutions, managing a wide range of stakeholders while still ensuring the best outcome for digital
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Creative, flexible and energetic
  • Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organisation
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing tasks at any one time
