Corporate Sustainability Coordinator

**About the role**

This permanent, full-time position is responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of projects that support and encourage corporate environmental sustainability related to energy and emissions, water and waste, fleet and staff travel, and responsible procurement. Some of the key tasks and responsibilities include:

- Improve staff capacity and awareness of environmental sustainability through development and delivery of environmental awareness and education programs
- Ensure that sustainability principles and supporting guidelines are embedded into Council’s procurement policy and practices
- Development, management and delivery of capital projects within the team, to ensure Council assets are environmentally sustainable and energy/water efficient, and
- Monitor, evaluate and report on corporate environmental performance, including calculation of Council’s emissions data for Climate Active certification.

**About You**

It would be preferred but not essential for applicants to have corporate environmental experience preferably related to local government.

**What’s on offer**

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from approx. $112,104 to $123,426 pa (including salary + super) depending on skills and experience.
