**About the Role**

As the National Work Health Safety Environment and Quality Manager, you will be responsible for providing high level advice and support to senior leaders to reduce the risk of injury and illness at work to achieve the objective of zero harm while ensuring compliance with work health safety and related legislative instruments.

You will drive a culture of safety excellence through communication, collaboration, education, training and development for management and staff across all workplaces and site locations. You will ensure the integrity of the quality management system and uphold a customer focus across the business in everything we do.

**About you**
- Ability to conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments
- Plans, implements, manages and maintains comprehensive environmental plans, safety & health programs on premises
- Ensuing that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents
- Review of current processes/procedures and implement changes to reflect safety laws and best practices
- Assisting HR with potential Injury and return to work management plans
- Undertaking incident investigations and updating risk registers where required
- Assist with induction requirements for projects.
- Complete regular site safety inspections
- Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

**Essentials;**
- 5+ years’ experience in operational and corporate management
- Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
- Tertiary qualifications in OHS and/or risk and compliance
- Sound knowledge of WHS and Environmental legislation and ISO 14001 and 9001)
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
