**About the Opportunity**

The Data Specialist is responsible for supporting the delivery of the Data Governance and Quality roadmap and programs of work for RACV enterprise-wide data. You will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of quality monitoring programs, delivery of regular management reporting and insights for data stewards and analysing data problems to assist in identify root causes.

This role provides specialist technical expertise in the tools and techniques to be used in data quality analysis and data governance; coupled with an SME level of knowledge on the RACV data ecosystem and source systems. You will assist in supporting the Data Governance and Quality specific platforms, working closely with our Technology department to deliver access, and integration requirements.

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline
- 3 years’ experience working with data dictionaries, complex data models, data quality monitoring development and data lineage
- Experience working within a Salesforce environment (highly desirable)
- High level capability with critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong knowledge of data structures, theories and practices
- Proficiency in constructing high complexity SQL statements
- Desire to find solutions and explore alternative strategies
