**How you will make contributions that matter**:
This role reports to the IT Manager, Regional Service Delivery and is a member of a small team that plays a crucial role in providing second-level technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services across our manufacturing sites and head offices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide 2nd level technical support for IT End User Computing and Mobile Device services, acting as the first point of contact for triaging issues and delivering user training.
- Collaborate with vendors to track and procure new equipment, oversee repairs, and schedule maintenance.
- Raise purchase requisitions for hardware and software purchases in response to business requirements.
- Monitor stock levels for essential hardware such as monitors, PCs, and printers.
- Support PC refreshes and assist with other IT activities as required by the organization.
- Generate periodic and ad hoc reports, maintaining and reporting on configuration management databases to meet central requests.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards and practices.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft products and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with mobile phone and tablet support.
- Good understanding of manufacturing sites and head office operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on user training and support.

**Job Criteria**
- This role is based in our Melbourne CBD office
- 3 days per week. You will be required to travel to our regional sites based in Victoria every 3-4 weeks with potentially an overnight stay. An Australian driver’s license is also required for this role.
- This role will require participation in an on-call roster.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant technical experience in IT support or a related field.
- Familiarity with IT procurement processes and vendor management.
- Ability to perform hardware stock monitoring and maintenance.

- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
