- May 17, 2023Tradewind are currently working with an Independent school in Taylors Lakes, looking for an experienced Middle School Indonesian/Humanities teacher a 0.8 part time role for Term 4 this year. Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced professionals to teach LOTE with highly developed and proven skills in teaching Indonesian as well as Humanities.

The school is a dual campus, co-educational, Prep to Year 12 College, with over 2,000 students across two campuses, in Keilor and Taylors Lakes. Producing consistently high academic results, the school is a premier, mid-fee, independent school, open to all denominations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively plan and evaluate curriculum to achieve specific outcomes.
- Provide consistent and coherent learning programs that will foster independence, challenge, and learning progression.
- Maintain positive, professional, and supportive interactions with parents, staff, and the wider College community.
- Work as a cooperative member of the collaborative year-level team, ensuring harmonious relationships

Key Qualities:

- Previous experience teaching Indonesian LOTE
- Additional teaching methods will be highly regarded
- Experience with VCAL in Literacy and Numeracy will be an advantage
- Experience with the implementation of Visible Learning.
- Knowledge of Restorative Practices
- Detailed knowledge of the Australian Curriculum as relevant to the position.
- A passion for engaging every student and demonstrated ability to bring out the best in them.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching at relevant levels.
- An ability to incorporate digital technologies as an integral part of the curriculum.
- Collaborative and proactive approaches to handling day-to-day matters.
- Willingness to contribute to Assemblies and Chapel Services.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Education or equivalent
- Relevant qualifications at a Post Graduate level will be highly regarded
- Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Full Australian working rights
