- Jun 27, 2023Tradewind is currently working with an Anglican School in Taylor's Lakes, looking for a Year 9 Indonesian LOTE/Hums teacher to join the school for a Term 4 contract for a 0.6 or 0.8 role.

The successful applicants will possess the relevant qualifications for the position and be currently registered or in the process of obtaining registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

The School:
The Anglican Community College is a dual campus, co-educational, Prep to Year 12 College, with over 2,000 students across two campuses, in Keilor and Taylors Lakes. Producing consistently high academic results, the school is a premier, mid-fee, independent school, open to all denominations.

Recognising that education is a partnership, the College seeks high parental involvement and each family contributes 12 hours of service to the College per term. - Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively plan and evaluate the curriculum to achieve specific outcomes in Indonesian LOTE and Humanities.
- Provide consistent and coherent learning programs that will foster independence, challenge, and learning progression.
- Maintain positive, professional, and supportive interactions with parents, staff, and the wider College community.
- Work as a cooperative member of the collaborative year-level team, ensuring harmonious relationships

Key Qualities:
- Experience in Secondary Indonesian LOTE
- Plan, prepare, and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to engage in critical reflection and inquiry in order to improve knowledge and skills to effectively engage students and improve their learning.
- Detailed knowledge of the Australian Curriculum as relevant to the position.
- A passion for engaging every student and demonstrated ability to bring out the best in them.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching at relevant levels.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Education or equivalent
- Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Full Australian working rights
