**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Due to ongoing growth, we are currently seeking a

Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Support Business Unit tendering and project start-up activities
- Provide mentoring and coaching to Warrikal team members to drive safety leadership and governance
- Undertake supporting activities including information gathering, data analysis, report generation and delivery, effectively informing and communicating and timely task completion
- Develop effective relationships across Warrikal teams
- Provide advice and effort to support to maintain legislative and internal compliance
- Lead priority incident investigations in line with Warrikal procedures
- Assisting in competency development and performance management
- Execute audit schedules and manage site-based audits with clients
- Facilitate the development and implementation of HSE initiatives
- Support the HSE Manager in managing injuries and illnesses, whilst providing advice to personnel
- Develop qualitative risk assessments
- Overseeing compliance with hazard and materials risks management
- Establishing and maintaining effective client relationships

**ABOUT YOU**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HSE role within the mining, resources, or construction industry.
- Qualification in OHS (Certificate IV or above)
- Formal incident investigation training (TapRoot, Essential Factors or ICAM).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Sound knowledge of the regulatory framework of the mining industry in WA.
- Experienced with contractor management.
- Sound knowledge of risk management.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and Lead Auditor qualification desirable.
- Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders are strongly encouraged to apply._
