**How will I help?**
The Team Manager, Complex Lending & Retention is a critical role in the delivery of our group vision. The successful person will be responsible for leading a multi-site, multi-skilled team of Lenders to deliver an outstanding and market leading service through a range of digital and virtual channels. The team plays a critical role in our first party strategy to retain and grow our lending book both in terms of simple consumer lending and more complex mixed lending through the delivery of outstanding service and skill.
The role involves working closely with and influencing leaders across the lending network to ensure our teams are helping every customer in the consumer network meet their lending needs using a virtual experience.

**What do I need?**
ideally you will be an experienced and resilient leader, accountable for sales leadership and the development of a high performing team. You have significant expertise in Home Lending and Complex/Mixed deal builds including an understanding of the TLA/TLW lending systems. You have extensive knowledge of Consumer Credit policy as well as business credit policy. You have the ability to lead a team spread across multi sites and effectively use multiple mediums to communicate and coach your team. You have strong knowledge of risk and compliance requirements associated with mortgages in Australia. You excel at working alongside multiple leaders from different areas of the bank. You are a fast learner and strong coach with the capability to deliver significant amounts of change to your team.
Your technical experience is coupled with a fascination for digital and virtual enhancements to deliver a world class service experience. You are to build and develop mutually beneficial relationships and be proactive and creative in managing enterprise business areas to gain a competitive advantage for the Westpac Group.
