**The Company**:
A leading National Association with offices in each state and territory in Australia are looking for an Event Executive to join their team in Melbourne. With over 500 staff Nationally, this Association are the leading body for their Industry and represent over 150,000 members.

**The Role**:
The Event Executive role reports to the Team Leader - Events and the main function of the role is the day-to-day coordination of event activities to deliver outstanding events

Key Responsibilities include;
- Event set-up (Face-to-Face & Virtual)
- Work with Team Leader - Events to establish and manage budgets
- Script creation
- Venue management
- AV management
- Creation and management of event support material
- Booking flights and accommodation
- Event Delivery
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders & suppliers
- Ability to implement and analyze financial control processes and procedures including cost management and purchase order processing
- Strong planning, multitasking and organisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and with limited supervision
- Manage changing priorities - hands on approach as required on events
- Strong relationship management skills both internally and externally
- Experience in corporate training environment, seminar, conference and/or Event Management
- Strong negotiation skills and project/time management skills
- Strong IT skills - Event Management System, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM
- Experience in Seminar, Conference and/or Event Management
- Ability to plan and organise work flows and determine priorities
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle pressure situations
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to regularly (and on a daily basis) switch between a “coordination’ role and a “doing” role
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods to ensure events are delivered of a high standard and on time
