**About the role**

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the recruitment activities across Cancer Council Queensland. This is an opportunity to get involved in recruitment and people experience projects, as we look at continuous improvements in our service delivery and embed new technologies that can support us in our work.

**Your Contribution**
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and lead talent acquisition activities across CCQ.
- Support and coach the managers ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to provide a positive recruitment experience.
- Proactively identify recruitment process improvements.
- Undertake reporting related to recruitment activities, proactively identifying trends and recommend recruitment strategies to assist the operational needs of CCQ.
- Lead any implementation changes to recruitment workflows.
- Liaise with external providers to promote CCQ and attend recruitment engagement activities where an opportunity has been identified.
- Undertake market scanning and analysis to ensure appropriate workforce insights are used to inform talent acquisitions strategies.
- Assist with any Recruitment or other Human Resources projects as required.
- Any reasonable duty as required by the People & Culture Management.

This role is Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours/week).

**About you**

**Qualification/s and Experience**

Essential
- Formal qualifications in Business, or a relevant degree or experience.
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment.

**Technical Skills and Abilities**

Essential
- A strong communicator with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks in a flexible and adaptable work environment.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and a willingness to take initiative in supporting P&C activities.
- Ability to use applicant tracking systems (ATS), career portals, and social media platforms - such Job Adder, LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Recruiter, X-Ref (or similar)
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, relationship management, influencing and
- negotiating skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Advanced communication skills including written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision.
- A thorough understanding of the Recruitment activities
- Experience in leading recruitment delivery and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proven ability to use initiative and to work autonomously and effectively as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of use in Microsoft suite.
- Ability to clearly and concisely express ideas and adapt communication styles to suit specific stakeholders requirements.

Desirable
- A current Australian Driver’s License
