**About Us**:
The Justice Officer is an entry-level position to a career in corporate services in the Department's eight Regions, through which the compliance, enforcement and regulatory services are provided to the Victorian community.

In a Justice Service Centre environment, a Justice Officer provides a combination of reception and concierge functions, and administrative and business support services.

**About the Role**:
As part of the Stores and Finance team, and under supervision, some of you main duties will include:

- Providing high quality financial, procurement, stores and canteen services, in accordance with the _Financial Management Act 1994_, other government regulations and guidelines and MAP local operating procedures
- Preparing stock estimates, obtaining quotes, organising purchases to maintain stock levels, undertaking regular stock-takes, maintaining accurate records and maintaining the stores and prisoner canteen in good order.
- Serving prisoners in the prisoner canteen, ensuring up to date records are maintained and adhering to compliance requirements

**About You**:

- Well-developed computer literacy.
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations.
- Experience with Oracle or similar finance related system.
- Experience with prison financial processes is desirable.
- Understanding of store and warehousing operations including associated stock management, delivery / service requirements and OHS practices.
