Business Support Officer

The role
The Business Support Officer provides administrative and business needs of the Branch while assisting Management to ensure correct processes are followed and compliant with policy and legislation.
This position is relied on to assist, contribute, support and provide effective client-focussed services across financial, human resource and administrative domains. Additionally, Business Support Officers provide a quality assurance that assists Management decision making.
The successful person
**You will have demonstrated**:
- experience, skills and knowledge of departmental budgetary and human resource processes and reporting requirements.
- ability to extract, collate and interpret information and to prepare and present statistical and financial reports.
- ability to resolve problems and work autonomously to achieve organisational goals.
- highly developed interpersonal, consultation and other communication skills to work with senior management and staff alike.
- sound knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues such as workplace health & safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination with the ability to provide leadership, direction and advice within the team environment.
