The Project Officer will join our LAND 19 Phase 7B acquisition program supporting the delivery of the enhanced NASAMS capability to Army to fill their Short Range Ground Based Air Defence capability need.

Supporting the Program Manager, the Project Officer will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing program activities and providing support to ensure all contractual obligations are achieved, customer expectations are met or exceeded, and we continually strive to ensure the Program meets Raytheon’s business goals. You will contribute to critical outcomes for Australian Army by delivering a complex, state-of-the-art program designed to keep Australians safe. You will assist an expert team to success by setting the vision, building the plan and using your unique leadership skills to foster a strong and safe team culture that delivers truly innovative solutions.

The** Project Officer **can look forward to the following essential elements in this exciting role:

- Assist the day to day running of the project such as budgets, schedules, and documentation.
- Maintaining strong relationships with key program stakeholders such as subcontractors and customer.
- Preparation and support to management financial and programmatic reviews, both internal and external.
- Foster cross team collaboration to help the projects complete tasks and produce deliverables.
- A liaison between the Project Teams and senior management.

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
- University Degree in Business, Project Management, or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in tracking and managing documentation, project costs and scope management.
- Proven ability to work in a high-tempo environment and complete work on time and with accuracy, coupled with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in a Defence related industry is desirable.
